Ambulance Vehicle Involved in Accident in Yerevan

On February 12, at 01:14, the National Crisis Management Center received a report about an accident at the intersection of S. Davit and Belinsky Streets in Yerevan, where two vehicles collided.

Two firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the vehicles involved in the collision were an ambulance of Brigade No. 45, a “Toyota,” and a “Mercedes-Benz W210” (driver: Davit G., born in 1998).

As a result of the accident, the “Mercedes W210” vehicle caught fire. Before the rescuers arrived, the passenger of the “Mercedes-Benz W210,” Narek G. (born in 1999), and the ambulance driver, Norayr V. (born in 1980), were hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center, where they received appropriate medical attention and were discharged.

The fire was contained at 01:28 and extinguished at 01:38. The “Mercedes-Benz W210” was completely burned out.

The rescuers approached Davit G., disconnected the power of the vehicles, and closed the gas valve of the “Mercedes-Benz W210.” Davit G. was also hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center, where he received appropriate medical treatment and was discharged.
