Six Armenian Soldiers Injured by Enemy Actions in 2020
From January 1 to 31, 2020, six servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces were injured due to enemy actions. This information has been obtained by Razm.info from a response to a query sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
The prosecutor's response specifically states: “I would also inform you that during the period from January 1 to 31, 2020, there were 7 recorded cases of attempted murder by the enemy, resulting in the injury of 6 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Armenia and the Defense Army of Artsakh.”
According to previously released statements by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, two of the injured soldiers were wounded in Tavush, on January 11 and January 15 (cases 1 and 2), from sniper fire.
The Ministry of Defense's approach to reporting injury incidents is as follows: information about the presence of injured personnel is typically not disclosed to prevent the enemy from gaining additional information about the outcomes of their actions.
