Edmon Nazaryan, Son of Olympic Champion Armen Nazaryan, Becomes European Champion

In the European Wrestling Championships held in the capital of Italy, Olympic champion Armen Nazaryan's son, Edmon Nazaryan, delivered an outstanding performance. In the final match, 18-year-old Edmon triumphed over Russian wrestler Vitaly Kabaloev, becoming the European champion.

It’s worth mentioning that Armen Nazaryan is the coach of the Bulgarian national team, and his son represents this country’s team. Edmon began his journey in the qualifiers, where he defeated Norwegian Snor Harsem Lund with a score of 8-0. Then in the quarter-finals, Edmon emerged victorious against Italian Giovanni Freni with a score of 14-2 and advanced to the semi-finals, where he won against the world champion, Azerbaijani Yaldan Azizli, by pinfall.
