Shooting in Thailand Shopping Mall: 17 Dead and Hostages Taken
A member of the armed forces opened fire with his own weapon in a shopping mall in Thailand, resulting in the deaths of 17 people and injuries to 21 others. The gunman has taken 16 hostages.
The federal tourism agency is in contact with the relevant authorities and is monitoring the situation in the northeastern region of Thailand, according to a statement from the agency's press service to RIA Novosti.
