Chayni and Dilijan bends closed: road conditions as of 22:20
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 7 at 22:20, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Dilijan bends are closed for trucks due to snow, while the Vardenyats Pass is closed for all types of vehicles. The Chayni bends are closed for trucks with trailers. The Sotk-Karmiravan road is difficult to pass.
On the Kapan-Goris road, in the regions of Ashotzk and Amasia in Shirak Province, and on the roads leading to the villages of Sarapat, Kakavasar, Salout, Musayelyan, and Berdashen, as well as in the sections of Saravan-"Zanger" and Sisian-"Zanger", there is black ice in places.
In the Aparan and Tsaghkadzor regions of Aragatsotn Province, there is a snowstorm. In the regions of Aragatsotn Province such as Tsaghkadzor village, as well as in Gegharkunik Province's Chambarak, Gavar, Sevan, and Martuni cities, and in Semionovka village, in Hrazdan city and Fantan village of Kotayk Province, in Jermuk of Vayots Dzor Province, in Dilijan of Tavush Province, in Gyumri city of Shirak Province, and in Amasia, Ashotzk villages, there is snowfall.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles. On the Russian side, there are 450 trucks stranded.
