This night, a major smuggling case was uncovered at the Bavra customs. This was announced today, February 6, at the start of a Government meeting by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Several employees of the customs service are involved in the smuggling. These individuals have imported goods or assisted in the import of goods without customs clearance, meaning that vehicles simply arrived and crossed the border.

"I am astonished by these people and their logic. It seems that they do not watch television, nor follow the news or social media. If anyone thinks that we speak in front of public cameras while doing something else in our offices, I want to reiterate that we will uproot corruption from Armenia, and let no one doubt our will. If anyone doubts, they will taste the bitter fruits of their doubts," said the Prime Minister.
