VIDEO: Davit Tonoyan Speaks About Artsakh's "Elite" Military Unit in Parliament

“There is no elite military unit,” stated Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan during a Q&A session with the National Assembly and the government. “This is a name circulated through media and social networks. All servicemen who are responsible have been penalized by the Minister of Defense of Artsakh, and those servicemen who are accountable or whose accountability will be determined during the investigation are being arrested or detained,” the Minister added.

It is worth noting that Auroranews.am published an article on February 3 titled “Artsakh's 'Elite' Military Unit, Sons of High-Ranking Officials, and Suicide Cases: Notable Details” concerning the death of serviceman Vahram Avagyan, which occurred on January 30 in one of the military units of Artsakh.
