Live: Government Meeting Begins, 32 Questions on the Agenda
The government led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is holding its third meeting of the year today, February 6. The agenda includes 32 items, of which 27 are non-reportable and one is confidential.
The key issues on the meeting agenda include:
- Approval of the national report of the Republic of Armenia regarding the revised European Social Charter (reporting period 2015-2018).
- Postponement of the payment deadline for the value-added tax amount calculated by customs and tax authorities for the import of goods by individual entrepreneur "Hakobyan Rustam" for a period of three years.
- Approval of the legislative packages related to amendments and additions to the Law on the Territorial Division of the Republic of Armenia and the Law on Local Self-Government.
- Granting exemptions from mandatory military service to Jordy Joao Monroy Ararat and Arthur Geghami Danielyan, who have significant achievements in the field of sports, from the winter draft of 2019.
- Privatization of residential areas occupied by individuals who migrated from the Republic of Azerbaijan between 1988-1992 and obtained citizenship of the Republic of Armenia.
- Scheduling and holding urgent elections for the head of the community of Agharak in Aragatsotn region of the Republic of Armenia.
