Fire Breaks Out on Tashir-Lernahovit Highway

On January 31, at 16:53, the 911 emergency call center reported that a grassy area was burning near the village of Lernahovit in the Lori province. A fire and rescue squad from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that the fire had erupted on a hillside adjacent to the 6th kilometer of the Tashir-Lernahovit highway. The fire was contained by 18:26 and fully extinguished by 18:40. Approximately 10 hectares of grassy terrain were burned.
