Facebook User Files Lawsuit Against Alen Simonyan

A Facebook user, Nane Arzumanyan, has filed a lawsuit against Alen Simonyan, the Vice-Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly. This information was shared today, January 31, by Arzumanyan's lawyer, Aleksandr Kochubayev, on his Facebook page.

He specifically stated: “We have demanded a public apology and compensation of 100 AMD through the lawsuit. The case is related to insults directed at Nane Arzumanyan. Alen Simonyan has insulted Nane Arzumanyan and violated the international standard rules of conduct for officials. I will provide further details regarding the case as necessary.”
