Accident on Alagyaz-Aparan Road Leaves Several Injured
On January 31 at 15:59, the 911 emergency center received information about an accident near the village of Rya-Taza in the Aragatsotn region. A fire and rescue unit from the regional emergency management administration was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a “Mitsubishi Airtek” vehicle, driven by Gurgen B. (born in 1980), had veered off the roadway and rolled into a nearby ravine at the 5th kilometer of the Alagyaz-Aparan road. Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and passengers—Ashkhen B. (born in 1991) and Andranik B. (born in 2018)—were transported to the Aparan Medical Center by citizens.
The doctors assessed the condition of the injured as moderately severe. Rescuers disconnected the vehicle’s battery and closed the gas tank valve.
