Criminal Case Initiated Over Post Regarding 'Prime Minister Decides to Tax Restaurant'
The Special Investigative Service is reviewing a post by Narek Samsonyan titled 'The Prime Minister Buying $3000 Per KG Black Caviar.' This was confirmed by the press office of the Special Investigative Service in response to a query from NEWS.am.
Specifically, a criminal case has been initiated regarding the following excerpt from Samsonyan's post: 'the Prime Minister, the 'Holy of Holies,' finds out and gets flustered, decides to punish the given restaurant with a tax right on the spot'. Samsonyan had written, 'The Prime Minister, who buys $3000 per KG black caviar, shows signs of disproportionate behavior... This is news from a credible source that I should have published earlier, but Nikol wanted to demonstrate disproportion. Therefore, after his father became Prime Minister, his middle daughter has grown very much fond of black caviar. And because our Prime Minister is also the highest editor of the world, he cannot refuse the child's wish and regularly buys 1 kilogram for his 'sacred' Nikol from one of the Yerevan restaurants (I am not disclosing the name of the restaurant yet) for $3000.'
'In early December 2019, they bought another $3000 food item, and by the end of the month, the child had consumed that one kilogram. The guys from Akhprana go to that restaurant and want the same amount of black caviar again, but they say, ‘let’s get it through bank transfer this time.’ The restaurant administration replies that if they are buying it through bank transfer, it will cost $5000 per kilogram instead of $3000. And our 'sacred' Prime Minister finds out and gets flustered, deciding to punish that restaurant with a tax right on the spot. This is the true face of the situation, and now he is shocked by the figures that 'safaryanstyopik' has thrown into the air. This is 'the hero of our time'. He is a person whose child eats two kilograms of black caviar worth $3000 a kilogram monthly and is 'shocked' by $500.'
