Major Accident in Ararat Province: Car Found in Marshland

Today, on January 29, a severe car accident occurred in Ararat Province. At approximately 15:40, 27-year-old Sergey Darshinyan, driving a Toyota Corolla with license plate 096 BB 01, crashed into a memorial stone near the entrance to Artashat City along the 30th km of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, partially damaging it and ending up in a ravine within marshland.

According to preliminary reports from shamshyan.com, there were no injuries resulting from the accident. The driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene, which confirmed that he was sober. The mentioned license plates are registered under the staff of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia and are assigned to the head of the tax service in the Ararat region, who was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The car was towed away and moved to a safe location.
