Gagik Tsarukyan Congratulates on Army Day

On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Army, Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly, sent a congratulatory message:

“Dear compatriots, I sincerely congratulate you on the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army. Today, we are immensely proud, as a well-established and combat-ready Armenian Army has become a crucial guarantee of balance and stability in the region. The path to the establishment of the Armenian Army has certainly not been easy. Thousands of brave soldiers have sacrificed their most precious possession—their lives—for today’s peace and the safety of future generations. Eternal glory to their memory.

Yes, today we have a national army that is the vital guarantee of the security of the peoples of Armenia and Artsakh, but we must not forget for even a moment the necessity of further enhancing the combat readiness of our armed forces and aligning it with modern military-industrial requirements. I especially congratulate all those who have made an undeniable contribution to the formation of the Armenian Army, from the ordinary soldier to the commanding officers, as well as the heroes who protect our rear day and night on the frontline. Wishing you good and safe service.
