Vardenyats Pass Closed for Trucks: Emergency Situations Ministry

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 27, at 18:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks and difficult to navigate for passenger vehicles. The Sotk-Karabakh road is impassable for all types of vehicles. There are patches of black ice on all roads in the Syunik province.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
