This is the True Face of Alleged Defenders of the Revolution: Edmon Marukyan

Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia party, has stated: "Followers and supporters of Bright Armenia often ask whether we see the insulting comments and offensive remarks directed at us. And if we see them, how do we relate to the situation? In this context, I would like to emphasize the following: we not only see but also sadly note that this is the true face of the alleged defenders of the revolution. In contrast to this quality, our followers are restrained and courteous. They are generally busy people and do not have the time or need to 'heroize' themselves on Facebook.

Our like-minded individuals are quietly observing and are undoubtedly increasing in number day by day. There can be no alternative, as what we profess is a tolerant type of person who excludes intolerance, is broad-minded, and embodies decency, inspired by enlightening ideas. My message regarding all of this is as follows: friends, do not worry, nothing can deter us from our chosen path, especially not the mob manifestations on Facebook, which do not exceed a few hundred.

By the way, this culture of insults seems to please the authorities; they are doing nothing to reduce hate speech. And if it pleases them, let them enjoy this temporary indulgence of cannibalism. The conclusion will be sad and primarily for the ruling team, as spontaneous noise and uproar are usually apolitical, lacking principles and logic. One day, it will change its direction, moving toward where it originated and sprouted."
