Resident of Sotk Village Stabs 45-year-old and 51-year-old Villagers
On January 26, a report was received by the Vardenis Police Department regarding a fight in Sotk village of Vardenis. On the same day, reports were also received from two medical institutions. They stated that a 45-year-old resident of Sotk village was hospitalized with "cut-puncture wounds to the lower abdomen and left lateral chest, and abrasions around the neck." Another medical facility reported that a 51-year-old man from the same village sought medical assistance for "cut and torn wounds around the neck."
Officers from the operational group who arrived at the scene determined that around 21:30 on January 26, a 49-year-old resident of Sotk village, during a dispute over domestic issues, attacked the two victims with a knife he had in his possession, causing bodily harm. The knife used in the crime has been seized. The man has been arrested. An investigation is underway.
