Kobe Bryant's Pilot Was Ethnic Armenian Ara Zobayan

On January 26, the pilot involved in the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the life of basketball star Kobe Bryant was identified as Ara Zobayan, an ethnic Armenian. According to Armenian Report, Zobayan was 50 years old.

Yesterday, the sports world was shaken by the death of the basketball legend, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter. A total of nine people were aboard the helicopter, and all perished in the accident. Preliminary reports indicate that fog and poor visibility were the cause of the helicopter's crash.
