Individuals to Face Criminal Liability for Overthrowing Constitutional Order Regardless of Time Limit

Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly, stated on his Facebook page:

“Legislative Initiative
Dear compatriots, next week I will introduce a draft law that will ensure that the statute of limitations does not apply to individuals who have overthrown the constitutional order, meaning that those who have overthrown (or attempted to overthrow) the constitutional order will face criminal liability regardless of when the act was committed.”
