I am resigning my mandate: Henrik Hartenyan

Henrik Hartenyan has stated on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, given the current situation, I ask for your forgiveness and consider my work in the Yerevan City Council incompatible, thus I am resigning my mandate."

It is noteworthy that yesterday, member of the Yerevan Council from the "My Step" faction, Henrik Hartenyan, posted a photo of the daughter of Constitutional Court President Hrayr Tovmasyan on his Facebook story with the caption: "H. Tovmasyan's daughter on Facebook, I want to see you, dear people." This act sparked a wave of criticism, leading Hartenyan to delete his Facebook page. The “My Step” faction also issued a statement condemning the act and convened an extraordinary meeting today.
