Hrayr Tovmasyan Reportedly Willing to Work for Authorities via Vanyan: Simonyan

National Assembly Vice President Alen Simonyan shared on Air Freedom that former NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan called him to convey a message from the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan.

Simonyan stated that at the beginning of 2019, Hrayr Tovmasyan, through Vanetsyan, expressed his willingness to work in any capacity for the authorities. Simonyan has doubts that during the moment Vanetsyan was speaking with him, a loudspeaker was also connected, suggesting that Tovmasyan may have been present on the call as well.

According to Simonyan, just a few days later, Tovmasyan unexpectedly received a hug from him and asked if everything was normal now. Simonyan responded, "Yes, it is normal, I said. I understood this was a continuation of our conversation."

Simonyan noted, "Honestly, now that I observe the events, when Tovmasyan speaks about claims with a strong facial expression, I think he should present his claim in another direction."
