Difficult Road Conditions in the Republic

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 21:00 on January 27, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks and difficult for passenger vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable for all types of vehicles.

In the Syunik region, there are patches of black ice present on all roads. According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of transportation.
