Temperature in Yakutsk Reaches -70 Degrees, Surenyan Reports
On the morning of January 25, in the village of Oymyakon (Yakutsk), Russia, the temperature dropped to a staggering -70 degrees Celsius. This was reported by Gagik Surenyan, the head of the Meteorological Center of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations, on his Facebook page.
“On the morning of January 25, in the village of Oymyakon (Yakutsk), the temperature reached -70 degrees,” he wrote.
