Conflict in Aygevan Village Ends in Gunfire; Two Injured

A violent altercation occurred in the Ararat region last night, resulting in gunfire. During a dispute and brawl among a group of individuals in Aygevan village, shots were fired, and reports indicate that two people have been hospitalized, one of whom sustained stab wounds.

The operational group of the Ararat Regional Police, led by acting chief Artur Zakaryan, along with the operational unit of the Ararat division, headed by Samvel Khmelian, arrived at the scene, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, as well as identifying the participants in the dispute and the injured parties. A spent cartridge from a gas pistol was also found at the scene. Materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Ararat Police regarding the incident.
