Stabbing Incident in Artashat Solved
On January 4, the Artashat Medical Center reported to the police that a 50-year-old resident of Norashen village had been admitted with stab wounds. An operational investigative group dispatched to the medical facility clarified that a dispute over household matters had occurred on one of the streets in Norashen village, during which a 35-year-old man had stabbed his fellow villager.
A criminal case was initiated.
During the examination of the crime scene, a broken knife handle was discovered. Days after the incident, the suspect was located, detained, and arrested. Artashat police continued their operational measures, uncovering new circumstances.
During the incident, the stabbed man, along with three other villagers, had attacked the stabber, causing him moderate bodily harm. They were detained on January 23 and presented to the preliminary investigation body, then arrested.
The investigation into the initiated criminal cases is ongoing.
