One of the Wounded Soldiers in Artsakh Has Sustained a Head Injury: Details

One of the soldiers injured in Artsakh, Henry-Hayk Zakaryan, is currently in the Martakert hospital. During a meeting with journalists, the head of the Medical Administration of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel Sahak Ohanyan, stated:

“The surgery was completed 1.5 hours ago. His condition is extremely serious, and he has sustained an injury to the head,” he said. The soldier is expected to be transferred to Stepanakert in the near future. If necessary, he will undergo rehabilitation treatment at the Central Military Hospital in Yerevan.

“Currently, the issue of transferring him to Yerevan is not being discussed as his condition does not permit it. If such a need arises, he will be urgently relocated to Yerevan,” said Sahakyan.

The condition of another injured soldier, Armen Mosropyan, is of moderate severity, and he has sustained a hand injury.

As a reminder, the Artsakh Defense Army reported that on January 24 at around 06:55, under still unclear circumstances, soldiers from one of the units located in the northern direction received gunshot wounds, including Henry-Hayk Simon Zakaryan, born in 2001, and Armen Johnik Mesropyan, born in 2000.
