Lydian Armenia Company Has Lost Its License
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia will recognize the decision No. 66A of March 7, 2018, as revoked in its meeting on January 29. In other words, the commission will invalidate the license granted to Lydian Armenia for the use of radio frequencies on March 7, 2018.
It is noteworthy that the commission had granted the company permission to use radio frequencies of 152.625 MHz and 157.625 MHz for organizing a mobile radio communication network in the Vayots Dzor region for a period of 10 years.
According to "Zhoghovurd" daily, the commission is not only revoking that decision but also obliging the company to pay the state budget for the radio communication fees it has used. The exact amount of this fee is unknown, as the information on the commission's official website has been kept confidential.
