Life Sentenced Ashot Manukyan Released from Prison

The Appeals Court has granted early conditional release to life-sentenced Ashot Manukyan, approving the defense's request.

Ashot Manukyan was accused of killing three servicemen 24 years ago and was sentenced to death. However, his sentence was not carried out, and in 2003, like other individuals sentenced to death, his punishment was commuted to life imprisonment. Manukyan, who committed the crime at the age of 20, is now 44 years old.
