Fire in Ijevan City: Rescuers on Site

On January 24, at 15:38, the 911 emergency hotline reported that a fire had broken out in one of the houses on Charents Street in Ijevan, Tavush Province.

Two firefighting teams from the regional emergency rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had started in a boiler room adjacent to one of the houses on Charents Street (approximately 8 square meters).

The fire was contained by 15:50 and extinguished by 16:20. The wooden paneling of the boiler room (about 30 square meters), one plastic door, a window, and a gas boiler were damaged by the fire.
