Deputy Minister's Apartment Robbed
On January 24, a theft occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:30 AM, the Yerevan police's operational management center received a call reporting that between 03:20 AM on January 19 and 10:00 AM on January 23, an unknown person or persons had broken into the balcony railing of a building on Gyulbenkian Street using technical means, entered the house, and stolen gold and brand-name women's watches, gold jewelry, and cash, as reported by shamshyan.com.
According to the source, an operational group from the Arabkir police department arrived at the scene, led by a community police inspector. A team from the Arabkir investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia also arrived.
Materials are being prepared at the Arabkir investigative division regarding the incident. According to sources, the apartment in question belongs to Arevik Anapiosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.
