Body of Elderly Homeowner Found During Firefighting Operations

This morning at 08:07, the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in the village of Arajamdzor in the Martakert region, with initial reports indicating that a residential house was ablaze. At 08:05, the fire truck of the Martakert firefighting brigade set out to the scene with a combat crew.

At 08:15, another combat crew from the Arajamdzor firefighting station was dispatched to assist, and at 08:40, a third combat crew from the Martakert firefighting unit went to help.

In the course of firefighting operations, the body of the house resident, 1926-born S.S., was discovered. The fire was contained by 10:20 and extinguished by 11:45. The residential house was completely destroyed by the flames. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being determined. An investigation is underway.
