10-Year-Old Child Hit by Car Transferred to Hospital Already Deceased

On January 24, a fatal accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 8:20 AM, the driver of a KamAZ vehicle with a military license plate hit a 10-year-old child at a pedestrian crossing in front of one of the schools.

Georgi Derzyan, the spokesperson for the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, announced on his Facebook page that the child died at the scene. However, at the request of the parents, he was transferred by ambulance to the resuscitation department of the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center.

A forensic examination is being conducted.
