Power Outages in Yerevan and Five Other Regions
The Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) has announced that on January 23, planned and maintenance work will be carried out, which will result in power outages in various areas to prevent future accidents.
In Yerevan, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, power cuts will affect private houses numbered 2-17 on Nor Aresh Street 41 and buildings 12 and 14. Between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, residents in the nearby buildings on Paronyan Street 9 and 15, Chekhov Street 18, and Bagratuni Street 11, 11a, 24, 26, 26a, 28, 30 as well as private houses in the 4th alley of Bagratuni Street will also experience outages. In the Nor Nork district, power will be off from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM impacting building 7 on Gay Street and surrounding areas.
In the Ararat region, partial outages will occur from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Khaunjyan and Komitas Streets in the city of Ararat, and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the village of Voskedap with additional outages from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM in the village of Verin Artashat. From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, power will be cut in parts of Lukasyan, Shahumyan, and Serob Aghbyuri Streets in Ararat city.
In the Vayots Dzor region, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the village of Agarakadzo will face partial cuts, with additional outages from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Andranik Street and the Yerevan Highway in the city of Yeghegnadzor. Other villages including Gladzor, Karaglukh, and Agndjadzor will also be impacted.
In Kotayk region, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the 2nd and 6th entries of building 13 in the 3rd micro-district of Abovyan will face outages, alongside partial cuts in the Jrvezh area and the village of Balakhovit. From 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, residents in Nor Geghi and the Luzakert military unit will also be affected.
In the Tavush region, power outages will occur from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the villages of Varagavan and Paravakar, including a mobile station of VIVAcell-MTS.
In Shirak region, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the northern part of the village of Pemzashen in the Artik region will experience power cuts. Additional areas in the regions of Ashotsk and Akhuryan will also have partial outages from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
