According to Reuters, the Chinese government is closing off the city of Wuhan, which is considered the epicenter of the new coronavirus outbreak. Local authorities have warned that the virus is mutating, posing a risk of rapid transmission.

It is worth noting that cases of infection have also been reported in Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and the United States.
