Police Officer Facing Disciplinary Action for Political Remarks
The acting head of the Armenian Police, Arman Sargsyan, has issued an order for disciplinary action against a police sergeant who made political comments under a publication concerning the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan. This was reported by the police to media outlets.
The officer, who is facing disciplinary measures, had commented under a post related to Tovmasyan's visit to the site of the former National Security Service director, Gevorg Kutoyan’s death, writing: 'Next, they will hit you.' According to circulating information, he also made political remarks regarding former President Robert Kocharian, stating: 'Do not be afraid of man's judgment, be afraid of God's judgment.'
