Only a working person who builds their own prosperity with their own efforts can be happy, says Prime Minister
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, shared a moment from the discussions held with regional governors during a question and answer session in the National Assembly today.
“I posed a question: when we build a road and lay asphalt, we solve transportation problems, but after constructing that road, it is necessary to address issues of civilization and the living environment. If that road is paved but not clean, not properly marked, and there are no appropriate road signs, we hinder the happiness of the person, because if a person needs to go from point A to point B, they will have to get irritated 10 times along the way due to the lack of direction from road signs indicating where to turn right, where to turn left, where to drive fast, and where to drive slowly,” he said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this is a problem that requires a solution. He reminded that there are many places where the infrastructure is developed, the road is built, and the building is constructed, but the overall atmosphere is not satisfactory.
“Our biggest problem today is that our settlements lack color, especially in rural areas, where there is a collection of gray buildings. After all, color is connected to happiness, as the environment and atmosphere are very important for all of this. Of course, I believe that only a working, creative person who builds their own prosperity with their own efforts can be happy; a person who waits for someone else's mercy cannot be happy,” said Pashinyan.
