More than 30 Moscow Metro Stations Receive Bomb Threat Alerts
More than 30 stations of the Moscow Metro, whose names begin with the letters "A" and "B," have received anonymous messages regarding the placement of explosives. This was reported by РИА Новости, referencing a representative of the capital's emergency services.
It is noted that 33 stations have received the alert. According to the emergency services representative, evacuation efforts have not yet been initiated. He also mentioned that a message about an explosive has been received at the Savior Cathedral in Moscow.
Since the end of 2019, similar messages regarding the Moscow Metro and other city facilities have been regularly received. The wave of “bomb threats” continues in other Russian cities, including St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, and Kemerovo.
As of now, no reports of explosives have been confirmed.
