What Letter Did Gevorg Kutoyan Send to His Wife and What Testimony Did the Taxi Driver Provide?

The newspaper ‘Zhoghovurd’ reports: ‘It has been four days since the death of former National Security Service Director Gevorg Kutoyan, and many questions still remain unanswered. According to the RA Investigative Committee, preliminary data indicates that G. Kutoyan traveled by a rented taxi to his apartment on Paruir Sevak Street on January 16, and the next day, on January 17, his relatives, unable to establish phone contact with him, went to the apartment where his wife discovered Kutoyan's body on the couch in the living room, showing signs of a head injury.

It is worth noting that Kutoyan never had a tendency towards alcohol. He was reserved and introverted, but since December of the previous year, he had often sought to calm his nerves through alcohol consumption. ‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper has learned new details regarding this case. In particular, we found out that before the incident, Gevorg Kutoyan sent a letter to his wife, which was of a personal nature and quite sentimental. His wife thought perhaps he was intoxicated again. It is reported that weeks earlier, Kutoyan had fired a weapon belonging to him while under the influence of alcohol, shooting at the walls. Neighbors, who were questioned, reported hearing a loud noise resembling an explosion but assumed it was construction work being conducted nearby.’
