Turkey Launches New 'Witch Hunt'
Police operations have been conducted in five provinces of Turkey as part of the fight against the "Fethullah Gülen Terrorist Organization" (FETÖ). The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Adana has decided to arrest 22 suspects, some of whom are former police officers, according to ermenihaber.
Employees from the organized crime department in Adana have uncovered and arrested some of the suspects in Mersin, Istanbul, Osmaniye, Sparta, and Adana. Additionally, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Ankara has also decided to arrest 11 current and 5 former employees of the Ministry of Education as part of an ongoing investigation into FETÖ. Simultaneous operations were carried out in Ankara and six other provinces to locate the suspects.
