Shirak Governor Meets Residents Concerned About Mandatory Slaughterhouse Transition
Shirak Governor Tigran Petrosyan visited the communities of Baghravan and Lanjik early this morning to meet with residents who expressed dissatisfaction with the government's decision to transition to mandatory slaughterhouse practices.
Tigran Petrosyan listened to the residents' concerns. Together with representatives of the regional authority, the current situation was discussed on-site, and possible solutions were presented.
Officials from the regional authority also visited the village of Karnut in the consolidated community of Akhuryan. Residents of Karnut expressed their grievances the day before regarding the compensation amount provided for hail damage. Following Tigran Petrosyan's instructions, specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture will work in the community and will then present appropriate proposals.
