‘Is This National Assembly or National Brawl?’ MP

Tikhin Zohrapyan, Mr. Bagratyan, Mr. Melkumyan, is this your level that it is lowered to such an extent? This was stated by MP Hayk Konjoryan from the ‘My Step’ faction during a speech in the National Assembly, in reference to the speech of Gagik Petrosyan from the Prosperous Armenia Party, which led to a scuffle in the Assembly.

“So, I also want to say, yes, regarding the three-letter words, four-letter ones, if necessary, we will fight. There are articles about that, but we should not lower to this level, is this a National Assembly or a national brawl?” said Konjoryan.

It should be noted that a dispute arose earlier in the Assembly hall after the speech by Arman Babajanyan, who called on his colleagues from the Prosperous Armenia Party to apologize for the speech of their member Gagik Petrosyan.

After the brawl, Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan announced that disciplinary measures had been taken against Janibek Hayrapetyan, Arthur Dallakyans, Arayik Aghababyan, and Gagik Petrosyan; the latter were deprived of the right to participate in today’s sessions.
