Black Ice on Roads in Syunik Province

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 21, at 21:00, there are impassable roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is open for trucks with trailers, provided that chains are used. However, the Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable for all types of vehicles.

In Syunik province, there are areas on the roads with black ice. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation's Emergency Ministry for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
