Light Snow Falling on Artik Region Roads

As of January 20 at 15:00, light snow is falling on the roads of the Artik region. There is black ice in certain areas on the Goris-Kapan, Goris-Sisian, Gavar-Martuni, and Horom-Artik roads.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for heavy and trailer vehicles due to black ice. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and treatment works with salt and sand on the roads.

All inter-state and republican significance roads in Armenia are open. To avoid accidents, mishaps, and traffic congestion, drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
