Husband Finds Wife with Lover in a Car in Gegharkunik Region

Investigations are ongoing in one of the police divisions of the Gegharkunik region regarding an incident that occurred in the area served by that division.

According to Shamhsyan.com, on January 19, 37-year-old Andranik A. reported to the local police station that his wife, 25-year-old Mariam A., a resident of Yerevan, had been missing from their home for over a week.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informs that on the evening of January 19, Andranik A. encountered his wife, Mariam A., along a road adjacent to the village of Tsovagyugh. She was with her lover, 29-year-old Gevorg G., a resident of Kotayk province. The two were found inside a car owned by Gevorg G., parked along the road.

Seeing this, Andranik A., along with his mother-in-law, 50-year-old Gayane Zh., approached them and attempted to remove his wife from the vehicle. However, the lover drove the car toward them, dragging them along, resulting in both the son-in-law and mother-in-law falling and sustaining bodily injuries.
