‘What Kutyunyan did not give at the cost of his life, the same forces will try to obtain from Gevorg Kostanyan’ - Arthur Ghazinyan

The president of the "One Armenia" party, Arthur Ghazinyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Hayk Harutyunyan, Gevorg Kutyunyan. Who is next? Gevorg Kutyunyan's tragic death shocked the entire public-political sphere of Armenia.

In my previous post, I drew the public's attention to the fact that some 'powerful and invisible' hand had forced Kutyunyan to leave his studies in Great Britain and return to Armenia. One can only imagine the moral and psychological pressure Kutyunyan was under that drove him to this step.

Kutyunyan had served as an assistant to Armenia's third president, Serzh Sargsyan, coordinating the entire judicial system of Armenia and enjoyed the absolute trust and sympathy of his direct superior. Based on this trust, he was later appointed as the head of Armenia's National Security Service.

Undoubtedly, he possessed enormous amounts of information and represented invaluable value for both the current and former authorities of Armenia. No criminal case had been initiated against Kutyunyan, nor had there been an arrest warrant issued for him, yet some force compelled him to leave his promising education and return to hell—a new Armenia.

Another assistant coordinating the legal sphere for Serzh Sargsyan was Gevorg Kostanyan, who also enjoyed the absolute trust of Sargsyan. He was later appointed as the General Prosecutor of Armenia. Kostanyan undoubtedly possesses highly valuable information and is of no less importance for the current and former authorities.

In contrast to Kutyunyan, a criminal case has been initiated against Kostanyan, an international warrant has been issued, and to return him to Armenia, the new Armenian authorities are currently employing legal pressure methods.

Setting aside the justification of the charges against Kostanyan, it is essential to highlight the fact that what Kutyunyan did not give at the cost of his life, the same forces will try to obtain from Gevorg Kostanyan.

Therefore, all political and social forces in Armenia should focus their attention on the upcoming developments around Kostanyan. According to all indications, Gevorg Kostanyan will become the epicenter of the struggle between the current and former authorities,” he stated.
