Meat Production Volumes Have Decreased
In the period from January to November 2019, the volumes of meat production decreased compared to the same period of the previous year. This information is based on the data published by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
According to these statistics, meat production amounted to 62,771.9 tons from January to November 2018, while in the same period of 2019 it decreased to 59,991.7 tons.
However, there is a trend of increase in semi-finished meat products, including minced meat and related products. In the period from January to November 2018, this indicator was 1,080.1 tons, rising to 2,457.5 tons in the same period of 2019.
For sausages and similar meat products, the Statistical Committee presents the following figures: 10,982.8 tons from January to November 2018, and 10,847.9 tons in the corresponding period of 2019.
