Major Car Accident in Yerevan: One Injured Individual Found in Truck

A major car accident occurred today in Yerevan. Vehicles of Honda and Opel Astra brands collided on Tbilisi Highway. Photographer Gagik Shamshyan reports that as a result of the collision, the Honda veered into the oncoming traffic lane and crashed into an iron electricity pole, subsequently moving forward and colliding with a Nissan X-Trail. It then hit an Opel Vectra parked in a permissible area of the road.

As a result of the accident, two individuals were hospitalized, one with a life-threatening diagnosis. Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the driver of the Opel Astra was found by medical personnel in the truck compartment after being thrown there as a result of the impact.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda was following an ambulance, as they were transporting a relative to the hospital. Investigative materials are being prepared on the incident. The police are working to identify the drivers and the injured. The collision also broke the electricity pole.
