Young Man Detained at Metro's Youth Station

On January 17, at 5:15 PM, officers from the Metro Police Protection Division detained a 22-year-old resident of Gegharkunik province on suspicion of possessing and using narcotics at the Metro's Youth Station foyer.

A personal search revealed 6 grams of a greenish substance and an improvised weapon. The young man stated that the substance found is a narcotic, belongs to him, and is for his personal use.

Chemical and forensic examinations have been appointed. Preparations are underway for further proceedings.
