Power Outage in Yerevan and Regions

The Armenian Electric Networks closed joint-stock company has announced that on January 20, power outages will occur in Yerevan and surrounding regions due to planned maintenance work intended to prevent future accidents.

In Yerevan, electricity will be cut off from 11:00 to 17:00 in the second block of Ararat, buildings 1 and 2, and adjacent non-residential subscribers, as well as on Inner Shengavit streets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, and 14, the houses on the first alley of Inner Shengavit street, and adjacent non-residential subscribers. Additionally, New Norq's second block will experience a power outage affecting building 3/1 on Totovents street and adjacent non-residential subscribers.

In Aragatsotn region, power will be cut from 10:00 to 14:00 in the villages of Parpi, Bazmabuyr, and Ghazaravan. In Kotayk region, the Abovyan city’s third micro-district building 20 will be without power from 10:00 to 16:00. In Shirak region, the western part of Ashotsk village in the Ashotsk area will face outages from 10:00 to 14:00, and the second and third streets of Bavra in the Ashotsk area will have partial outages from 10:00 to 16:00. Additionally, the Agricultural Street in Maralik of the Ani region and the border check-point 3 in the Amasia region will also experience outages.

In Syunik region, electricity will be cut off in the Goris district from 10:30 to 13:30, in the streets of Karakert in Meghri from 11:00 to 15:00, and in the buildings on Israelian street 35, 37, 39, 39g, as well as in buildings on Njdeh street 2, 3, 4, Sisakan street 34, Manukyan street 3, and Adontsi street 1/1, 1/2, 1/4 in Sisian from 11:00 to 12:00. Additional outages in Sisian will occur from 14:00 to 15:00 in streets 1, 2, 3, and 4 and in Grigor Lusavorich streets.
