Zarukyan's Assets and Accounts Seized
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that in the last one and a half months, over 50 assets and accounts belonging to Gagik Zarukyan have been seized. These properties are not directly registered in his name but under third parties; however, the authorities are clearly aware of their origins.
This economic terror began after Prime Minister Pashinyan's infamous statement about "cutting off the claws," made during the last confrontation between the Prosperous Armenia Party and the government at the end of last year. He stated, "The North-South project has provided a very good investment environment; they have seized this project and are milking it like a cash cow. Now we are cutting off their claws – one by one."
It is known that a criminal case has been initiated against Sedrak Arustamyan, the director of "Multi Group" and a friend of Zarukyan, in connection with the North-South project. Now, criminal cases have also been opened against third parties linked to Arustamyan, and seizures have been put in place.
